Mermaid Cove

After a little hiatus from comics production, we're back with an original scene featuring the artwork of Gabriel Anibal Rearte!

On Neverland, pirates are mermaids are often at odds with each other. One such mermaid has been captured by a group of the pirates and tied up in a tree, but their original plans for her are abruptly interrupted when a loud cannon shot from the Jolly Rogers calls them to attention. They rush down to investigate the skirmish and their catch-of-the-day is quickly abandoned. Left unattended and helpless, the voluptuous siren becomes the perfect meal for one of the island's most opportunistic predators - a hungry python on the hunt.

This comic started as concept art for an upcoming series that's been delayed while we reconsider certain aspects of the storytelling and art direction, "Escape from Neverland."
